| Broken AT4033 I saw someone else post a thread about a 4033 that wasn't behaving properly so I thought I would ask about this I have an Audio Technica AT4033/CL that is producing some hum. It's pretty mild but definitely audible and visible in Logic. I thought it might be feedback from the loud heaphones on the vocalist in the vocal booth, but I switched the mic out for a (modded) Oktava 319 and it stopped (same everything). I love this mic and can't afford to buy a new one right now so I'm hoping you guys can help me fix the problem so I can put it back in use. Please any help or recommendations of someone who could fix this in the Sacramento area?

| Sounds like a ground issue. Check the three tiny case screws down by the low cut switch. Give them a tweak with a micro Phillips. Also, check the set screw in the connector. If that doesn't help, PM me. ![]()
