Yeah, especially on that older B & K stuff, they had absolutely horrible circuit boards that would de-laminate at just the hint of a soldering iron.

Out of curiosity, what is the shiny transformer looking thing in the photo?

Edit: Upon close squinting I can see Jensen on that xformer, I guess I answered my own question.

He usually has the lid off one at the trade shows. Stop by his booth at AES this fall and have a look.

Hmmm good idea but that would be a £500 round trip just to do so as I'm in the UK!!!

Although a trip to NYC could be good fun!

Have you seen the inside of a "Linn Drum" machine??

I'll take a picture when I get home post in the next couple days. There is so much going on in there it's sick.

Sorry,

Grandma's got the camera, for any that know him, Jamie's daughter's been born, so family stuff's been pushing back the forum stuff lately.

8lbs 9oz blue eyed dark haired healthy doll.

I'll shoot a shot of either an EQ-2NV or an MAQ-2NV tomorrow and figure out how to post it.

They look a lot alike inside just more crap on the front panel on the MAQ.

More to it than that, but at first inspection, that's what you'll see...

FWIW I have three different pieces. They are all the same depth. I know the transfer console is the same depth too. Makes for a neat installation.

Elegant install and if all boxes are modular construction then they buy their top and bottom panels in higher bulk for reduced cost!

Congrats on the new addition to the family Dan!! Thats awesome.
Whats nearly as awesome is the fact you offered to shoot a snap of your EQ personally...very cool.

I lust after an MAQ most days.
Looking forward to seeing into the belly of the beast.
Thanks Tom
