OK I'm so lost, I must have misspelled my boolean query.

Why is this place called geekslutz? I expected something more... lascivious.

Ok, these is the first pic of my very first diy project: a set of floorstanding hifi speakers. The pic shows the finished crossovers. They are a very simplistic yet functional paralel crossover design. The speakers are designed by Mr. Tony Gee from Humble Homemade Hifi.

1980s SONY DRE 2000 digital reverb

Here are the A/D - D/A converter board and the Analog audio sub-board from my early 1980s SONY DRE 2000 digital reverb.... Note the Allison EGC 101 VCA on the analog board, and the extensive ground plane on the converter board (both sides, actually).

This is a great thread and a very good topic as well it seems that we are in the forum of audio engineering and total technical things are there but it seems interesting and informative to get some knowledge about all the latest equipments about music and all the technical know-how of these string-machines.

I've got a whole album with audio equipment guts:
The Gear Porn Archive

Approx quadruple times of pics are still offline, havn't got time to update the album recently. Will drop a line if they become online (with lots of neat beasts like CS-50/60/80, Oberheims, Sequentials, Moogs, Rolands, Korgs, and many more including quite interesting things like a Synclavier, EIII or a Kurzweil MIDIBoard (a weird ingenious constructed polyphonical masterkeyboard)). Stay tuned...

That's pretty funny!

But, man, what a beautiful image, and such simple elegance in the guts!
It looks like it wouldn't be too hard to put together, no? ;-)

Can we get a bigger picture of the "LA-2A"? It's hard to see the fine detail..
