| Basic console cleaning/repair I have some intermittent channels in my DDA Forum console. I'm pretty sure (although I'm not a tech by any stretch of imagination) that it will be solved by cleaning the ribbon cable connections, cleaning the TRS insert connector and touching up solder points around connectors. What should I use for cleaning connectors ? What else do i need to know ?

| miller stephenson Contact ReNu is good for connectors and such. with intermittants, you will need to test all audio switches. thats probably where your issues lie. but you will also find a few of the problems you described earlier. switches switches switches. oh BTW, switches suck. |
