6 Synth Shootout (VST)

Ok so I own half of these and am currently demoing the other half. I know what I like but am curious to see what everyone else thinks. The line up includes ANA, Diva, Spire, Strobe, Sylenth1, & Zebra. The files are raw sound, no eq, compression, etc. Feel free to guess!

Any personal preferences to which one you think sounds the best? Got to get a couple posts on here before I post the answers

I never worked with Spire and Strobe. So it's just my guess about this synth.

1 - I like it smooth sound. I think it's Zebra
2 - This is really bad unison and a lot of hiss. I guess it's ANA
3 - This is really creepy sound and unison pretty sylenthy. It's Sylenth.
4 - Strobe. Really don't like the unison, but I think Strobe sounds different.
5 - this really sounds like old Diva version. Cause in new Diva there's a digital oscillator which sounds more modern.
6 - Spire. I don't know why

That was fun Interesting look at the answer

I like your comparison but isn't it a bit unfair that some have the osc detuned for stereo effect? Either all should be detuned or none of them meaning all mono or all detuned stereo.
Maybe you chose some "init" preset from all plugins? You should do it again with ALL parameters the same, then it's interesting :D

You have a good point, but I wanted to show people that some synths are capable of handling more sounds than others. While Diva and strobe sound great for mono sounds that's about all those plug ins are good for IMO. And if that's all their good for, what's the point. YMMV

Wow thanks for it. I admit I liked the ad videos from all of them. Now in comparison Zebra was one of my faves!
