Tal U-NO XL vs. Juno 60 osc audiotest

For the people wondering about simple wav test, here you go. The audio from the J60 was recorded at 44.1, the whole thing was then converted to mp3

The order is BOTH PLAYING THE SAME WAV, TAL PLAYING IT FIRST: TRI, SQU, PULSE, TRI SQU, TRI PULSE

My personal opinion is that the TAL is awesome, but it lacks the bite mine has, maybe it's just mine... There is this analog sizzle I hear when I hear mine that the U-No doesn't have. I still contemplated selling my Juno after I did this test though.

Alot of people could say, okay they modeled a different 60, but there is this high pitch nasal type of sound that i hear in almost ALL analog synths... the Tal has some of it, but not all of it. Hope this helps! The Tal's filter isn't nearly as good as the 60... Its different too, when you want to make the same sounds on a 60, well mine atleast. It's awesome that it has portamento, which they had glide, so I can play all the keys, instead of monophonic! it would make killer wurli-esque sound. Really don't know why they did it like that lol... actually the filter on the TAL sounds horrible. its not creamy at all. its ice cold

I'm the main developer of this little synth. No undercover action here

I uploaded some more audio examples that show some factory presets and the filter in action. All recorded @ 44'100Hz:

Its maybe possible to tune the presets a bit more, but it should give an idea how the emulation sounds.

The juno plays a sequence or a note followed by the same note or sequence played with the U-NO.
