Thread Starter | Shure KSM32 vs. AKG C414 B-ULS
I'm looking for a good all-around condenser, and have come to these two options. Obviously the 32 is less expensive than the 414, but they both seem to get a lot of praise for being well-rounded mics. I'd like to use the mic for occasional acoustic guitar, classical guitar, toms, cymbals, shakers, ambient outdoor sounds....etc. But I don't want to attach this mic to one particular use. I have a feeling the 414 is going to be a no-brainer, but if anyone has anything to say about this, speak up! Thanks! |
