Hey man,

They both sound great! Nice voice BTW. I am sooo glad I just bought an Sm7b- it sounds like a record and holds up to mikes costing 4 to 10 times as much

Both sound nice, I'll give the slight edge to the SM7b. Very crisp.

If you don't mind me asking, what pres/converters were used? What kind of effects were applied in mixing (and on the master) if any?

no EQ (for testing purposes)
tiny bit of reverb from logic space designer

Very cool. All these Apogee clips I've been hearing are killing me, they sound great!

This guy has an excellent voice btw. Winning vocal chain for sure.
