I love Royer 121s, but in this example I preferred the SE.

The Se sounds great.

The Royer needs a bit of EQ. Still sounds great.

Nice playing. Like the picking at the end.

I was looking for ribbon with tighter bottom but i hear that SE has more mids than Royer but those mids are a bit muffled.Royer has harder sound and faster transient response but is a bit contoured in comparison.Still a 5% better i think.I tested two days later some Golden Age microphones - one of them was exactly the same as Fathead.I think Fathead with Lundahl could stand by SE and Royer.Stock transformer version is dirty in mids , not as articulated .
