The standouts to me were the Swedien and the U-47...both were really nice. The AT4050 was just totally outclassed as far as I could hear...very dull and lifeless, kind of "choked off" sounding. Wasn't crazy about the C800...nice detail, but very little body and definitely not what I would consider warm. The U-67 and u-87 were just ok.

Actually, as I continue listening to the clips, I find myself liking that U67 more and more.

If I were picking one of the mics to record myself playing guitar....i think i'd pick the Swedien...it seems merciless and beautiful at the same time and would drive me to lay down absolute perfection.....but really all those mics sound great. (I can only imagine how beautiful that 67 sounds on particular voices...my o my. that's a special mic there)
