Thread Starter  | Mic pre Noise test with/with out mic.
Some are not sure HOW much noise their mic pre is producing and how much the mic is producing, So I did the following: I recorded four tracks: with mic in two different rooms and one with a 150 ohm load so some can see HOW much difference there is between mic pre noise ONLY and with a mic in a quiet room and same mic in CTR with the typical background noise. All 4 tracks are the same mic pre at max gain(62dB) going straight in to a CD burner with record level at max.. |
