Maybe people are sick of the neve and neve clone conversations... Performances are a little different at the first i can hear footsteps or something...also Clip2 sounds a bit better. These clips lack a bit of clearence imho what mic and conversation was used for recording?

I like number two more. First one is a little more muddy.

2 sounded superior, even through my multi-media speakers. 1 wasn't muddy to me, just less articulate as 2.

Ok, I think no1 else will be interested by now. So, every1 as towards number 2 and this was the neve,...oh wait, not, number 1 was neve and number 2 was the clone thats worth about 1500$-1600$ Thats good to hear. In my opinion the second one was a little more bright, that might led to "more Loud" type of feel. I liked the lowmids from neve but the highs from the clone. Any last thoughts? Plz be free to comment.

Hi Marogru. In another recent GS thread Geoff Tanner mentions how relatively rare properly configured 1272s are. 1084 or 1073 different sounds same settings?? Just out of curiousity, what kind of 1272 are you using and which 1272 clone are we hearing here? Btw, on your voice, the 'clone' does sound slightly clearer. Tx Neil.
