| Gear maniac | Quick-Somebody give me a couple clips (Alan Smart VS SSL Comp) I'm at my buddy's and I got an hour or so later to test out an Alan Smart C2 versus the SSL Comp plugin. Could somebody put up a few unprocessed stereo files on a server so I can download and run 'em thru the paces? |

| Gear nut | OK, here are a couple clips. They're not perfect but maybe it could give you an idea to the sounds. Its a drum loop. One files is the Alan Smart and one is the SSL Comp on dual mono. Compressing about 4db, flipped the phase on one, tried to cancel out with the other. subjective, yada yada yada |

| Lives for gear  | Wow. This thread died fast. I guess people have finally tired of the subject? I liked #1... but then again it was the loudest, and you know how that goes. It also seemed to have a much snappier envelope than 2 to my ears.
