What is X.C input on old amplifier?

Hey simple question, I'm sure someone here can answer.

I just bought (another) old hi fi amplifier. It uses 5 pin DIN connectors.

It has inputs labelled for TAPE/TUNER + the configuration of which pin sends/recieve which signal i.e Left/Right/Earth/Right/Left for the tape.

Can someone tell me what the input labelled X.C is for? Also unsure what O stands for in the context of Left/Right/Earth (is it just nothing?)

Thanks slutz

Showing my age - but my guess is Xtal / Ceramic phono input. input will have a lower sensetivity (100mV) to Mag(netic) input, and bypass the RIAA pre-amp.
