NAS Enclosure advice

Hi,

My WD Mybook World Edition suffered a fail recently and I need to get a new enclosure (the drive is spinning up and seeking Ok by the sounds of things).

I've been looking at affordable enclosures to transfer the drive to (I don't have space in the PC for it right now) and have come up with the following brands-

Zyxel do a 2 bay gigabit enclosure for about £45 and D-Link have one for £60.

Can anyone give any idea on these brands for reliability? Ideally, the cheaper one as I've had other issues recently that have cost a bit and I don't want to eat into the Prophet 08 funds.

Mucho Cheers

I'm currently using a Synology DS211J. Fantastic box with more bells n whistles than I'll ever use.

Cheers. I went with the Zyxel in the end. Time will tell if it's OK. Was the cheapest of the bunch- but I'm sure will do better than the WD enclosure (not read too many things about the Mybook WE since it failed...)

Love my Synology CS407e... wish I could have afforded the new D4 series for the faster transfer rate.
