iPhone and pro audio to go

Has any tried this app and an applicable pigtail for location audio? If so, what did you think?

Without having actually used it, it appears to offer basically the same or similar functionality as any other recorder, including the built in voice memo... Maybe it has a few adjustments, but there are much better apps for free or super cheap. The marketing seems kinda weird, there are a lot of apps that can do all that and a lot more...
Most of the "cables" for external mics go thru the 1/8 in trrs phones plug, which is not the most reliable. And it doesnt have phantom. I use the mic in the headset all the time, and it sounds much better than I expected! The mic w i436 (or another one in the series) looks neat. One of the limitations is the phones own a/d converter. Some products like the tascam im2 and the apogee mic (if it ever appears) have their own superior a/d.
