Thank you very much. What does a moderator do, anyway?

"You kids settle down back there! Don't make me stop this car!"

"Break it up! OK, Both of you come to the headmasters office - we'll get to the bottom of this!"

"That's a cogent, not to say pungent, description of your wife, Mr. Johnson. Now Mrs. Johnson, let's hear your side of the story and see if there's any common ground."

Am I getting close?

No no Dave, you have it all wrong, you're supposed to impart words of wisdom that will turn us all into first class audio engineers and first call bass players, and you have 30 days to do it, now get cracking. Or at the very least you post some great BarBQ tips and tell us what the hell nashville high tuning really is. Oh there's also the little known clause in the contract that says all forum member get to borrow any of your compressors and pres for the next 30 days, would you mind posting a list. You did get your management to vet the contract didn't you? Carry on and take care. Logan

Oh - is that all? But what would I do for the other 28 days?

Here's the first tip. The bass plays on 1 and 3, and the snare plays on 2 and 4...

Of everything - if there's a 6 pack, the bass player get's the first and third beer, the drummer gets the second and fourth, and the rest of the band splits the other two. If there's four girls (or cute guys, for the drummers), same thing. Continue through the rest of your normal daily affairs...

Nah - All I've got here at the studio is a microwave, and possum requires an oven...
