ELECTRONIC MUSIC SPEAKERS

NO I DONT MEAN A MARKETING GIMMMIK ABOUT A SPECIAL KINDA OF SPEAKERS FOR DANCE MUSIC.

IM JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW WHAT OTHER POEPLE USE.

IM USING GENELEC 1030 WITH 6INCH SUBCONES AND THINKING OF GOING TO THE MAKIE HR824.

WHAT DO U USE AND HAVE LEARNT OF SPEAKERS YOU HAVE USED FOR DANCE AND ELECTRONIC MSUC?

I've learnt that you shouldn't mix too loud and you don't need a sub.

Oh, we're shouting????! Um, I mean:

I DO USE THEM DYNAUDO BEM6AS AND I DO LIKE THM.

I LEANT THAT BIG MONITOR IN SMALL ROOM IZ BAD AND YOU SHOULD MIX FAIRLY QUIETLY ON RESONALBLE SIZES OF MONITORSZ THAT ARE SUTIABLE FOR THE SIZE OF ROOM YOU IN.

yea, the BM6a's are definitly "standart" for most electronic music.... at least from the people i know ...

I really believe that as an engineer / composser you should not single out "electronic music" as having its own set of tools (not counting synths, drum machines, fx) but good monitors are good monitors, get the best and most detailed you can afford.

I use silk domed E8's BTW.
