The Blofeld's arpeggiator is really powerful and can hold up to 64 steps pattern, but the process of making patterns is very tedious because of encoders. There are no step-input buttons.

And the multimode requires attention ( I always confuse the order of actions and shortcuts of changing layers) and may be buggy with older os. There is no midi-out, except usb, so you can use it only inside the box ( haven't tried usb-out to DAW anyway)

There is midi-out on the kb version, but such usage is weird

Any iPad sequencer and iRig MIDI is better option. Or used Electribe of any generation, or Yamaha QY-???, whatever

What's the difference between Electribe MX (EMX-1) and Electribe SX (ESX-1) except color?

First is drum rompler + MMT-synth, red one is one shot/phrase-sampler

Not very keen on earlier gens but the division was the same - sampler vs drum synth,
just less channels, memory and different dsp/engine.
