Are there any good granular FX processor VSTs like the Mungo g0 in Eurorack?

looking for something like this in VST form to mess with

seems there are a lot of granular synths out there but they seem mostly aimed at loading a sample then playing it on a keyboard which doesn't really interest me and is not what I'm looking for.

I just want a granular FX processor to process and mangle incoming audio. Something more geared as an FX unit than a standalone granular synth with a clean not overly cluttered interface, does this exist? I would love a Mungo g0 but it's like $750 plus shipping and import tax, I've read sketchy reports on finish/build quality from the few people who have bought one, and that's just way too pricey for a eurorack module.

buffer override looks interesting, although a little ancient- hope it works fine in a new mac. Any more modern plugins kind of like that?

looks like there may be some interesting max 4 live effects

Yeah I'm a big fan of the new audio damage plugins and their design aesthetic, unfortunately it looks like they don't have a granular processor but if they did that would probably be ideally what I'm looking for.

edit: hmm looks like discord3 has some granular stuff but not quite what I'm looking for if I recall last time I checked it out but need to explore it again

You should check out Granite. I use it a lot for granular bits.

All the granular bits in this song (most noticeable in the atmospheric percussive elements) are via Granite using my own recordings:

Can Granite be run as an FX processor? Not looking for a granular synth that I need to load samples into.

That's how I use it!

It's not a very good "synth" for me, but it's an awesome FX processor!
