I'm one half of an outfit called 'Dogzilla'. We do kind of techno/trance meets rock meets pop.

MySpace.com - Dogzilla - London, UK - Club / Electronica - www.myspace.com/dogzillaofficial

I also like my dark, electro house stuff.

I generally make pretty twee, unnecessarily and overtly melodic symphonic electronica with the odd acoustic instrument and occasional chiptune element, mainly due to growing up with a SNES and absorbing my Dad's Jean-Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield CDs while in the car as a kid.

But yeah, I was glad to see this little sub-forum open on GS too.

<< i work with this guy MySpace.com - Junior Sanchez - NEW YORK - Healing & EasyListening / Surf / Pop - www.myspace.com/juniorsanchez as a production team. >>

Interesting. Can you shed some light on this. How many members on the production team? Do you work independently? How did you get the gig? How do you get paid?

Any insight appreciated!

Downtempo, lo-fi, hip hop beats are here:

MySpace.com - Welcome Bridge - BELLINGHAM, Washington - Electronica / Hip Hop / Down-tempo - www.myspace.com/djcamellite

My favorite is Boards of Canada and the like.

Many more songs but I don't put them up.

Welcome Bridge is just the lates incarnation of my myspace setup. It changes, it may be house sometime soon.....I dunno.....all over the map here.

Everything from Trance to Electro. I have gotten into breaks recently as well. I am really getting into music for film and will most likely focus my efforts on that from here on out with an electronica twist. I still make House/Trance/Electro on the side though.

I produce electronic-based ambient-country-death metal, with strong punk and classical influences, and a touch of Barry Manilow.

(I produce techno & tech-house as well ).

What started out as "an experiment in the works" 15 years ago has turned into what my music has become now.

My work is sample based, and is a mixture of hip-hop, down-tempo, funky, and experimental when I feel like it. I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Art Of Noise, a lot of hip-hop, and "Revolution No. 9", in that time consuming everything else that I could get my hands on.

EDIT: I guess after lurking for a few months, this is my first post. Got to start somewhere, right?

I produce Hardcore... or Happy Hardcore

MySpace.com - Daniel Antix - Sydney, AU - Happy Hardcre / Trance / Techno - www.myspace.com/danielantix will take you to my myspace

but ot be honest i've had enough of it. I'm rebuilding my studio to get back into mixing and recording bands, good old rock!

as far as listening to music goes i listne to a lot of rock... mostly 90's stuff and psytrance (like Infected Mushroom, Skazi, GMS) and i can do a bit of electro/house

so over hardcore atm... and i think for good.

Never know how to describe music, hence the usefulness of myspace which has categories that must be right

I guess this would be an appropriate first post.

I do the idm/glitch thing i guess, but i have a stronger affinity for melody and harmony than just destroying sounds.

and sound design is a huge aspect of it for me, as i probably spend as much time doing the sound design as i do writing.

anyways... http://www.myspace.com/alteredtensions

hello all.

SpaceMusic - Ambient

I do mostly down-tempo Ambient, SpaceMusic, & Atmospheric music. I've released three CD's commercially. Sounds like a mixture of Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Vangelis, Jonn Serrie, Geodesium, etc......

You can check out audio samples and get info at my site.

I'm trying to assemble material old & new to form a er...easy-listening collection of songs that will sound like a mix of Leftfield, Frontline Assembly, The Crystal Method, Astral Projection, old-school EBM, Dub, Imminent Starvation, Plastikman, etc...By saying 'mix' i mean that each song will bear a ressemblance to one of the aforementioned artists/genres.I hope i'll be able to pull it off before it turns out to be to distorted for i love distortion too...
