What's the story behind your avatar?
I see a bunch of interesting avatars around here and would like to know how you made them/where you nicked them from. So share
Mine comes from a photo blending equal parts androgyny and monotribe XD

Mine is like, how much more black and round could this be? And the answer is none. None more blacker... and, er, rounder.

Me and my girlfriend at a friend/mentor's place with Keith Emerson's moog. My grandpa was ELP's tour/road manager in the late 70s/early 80s and Gene keeps the moog in tip top shape while it isn't touring. Lots of ties to Keith in the family/friends circle.
Boom boom.

Gort light burst, because if we were ever invaded by Robot Aliens they would probably like electronic music the most.

Mine is one of my dogs on top of the speaker.
It is supposed to be a modern version of the old HMV ads.
I was gonna go with this pic of the dog in my slipper, but it is less musical.

I love the design, and I generally think that all truly great music requires spring reverb crashes and a DR-55. I want to remind myself that messy and naive experimentation is the purest sort of creative state. VIDEO

So who is the puppet-master behind the media? I'm almost afraid to ask.

Mine is just my tape deck... but maybe some time I will go back to the old ski jumper avatar, which is from the film The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner.
