EMS Polysynthi Strings Atmosphere

Dear all

Anyone have an idea how to produce this kind of "high, tension" strings atmosphere that you can hear in the first 10 seconds of the video

Thanks and regards
Marco

First of all, that audio is crap.

But you should be able to do that with any rompler with sawtooth waves. I'm not sure why it's making the "wobwob" during pitch bends. Maybe it's beating against itself and the delay is doing it for no other reason, I've had that happen before.

Try a two OSC patch on anything with sawtooth waves, maybe add in some pulse width modulation waves, in octaves. Filter mostly open, envelope attack and release set for a soft beginning and long tails, and levels of the two OSCs fussed with until you feel like doing the happy dance. Run through a delay at around a third of a second or so, 330ms, some feedback, and see if it's close.
