Is it possible to use an s3000 floppy drive for the s900?

Hi, is it possible to use the floppy drive of the akai s3000 in the s900?

Floppy is broken in the s900.....

The s900 has a 720kb (DS-DD Double sided double density), while I suspect (not sure) the s3000 probably has a 1.44 (DS-HD Double sided High density)...
