Which VST (Vanguard alternative?) for AGGROTECH?

which one would you recommend? i thought vanguard would cover the sounds maybe well, but people told me it sounds too old and i should get a better newer VST with more options and sounds.

Suicide commando uses a hardware Roland SH-201 which you can buy for 200€.. Same price of a vst synth.

If i were you i'd get the sh-201 itself.

I was a tour musician for an aggrotech band a few years ago and I used NI softsynths exclusively (Massive, Absynth and FM8). Very capable synths for this kind of music IMO.

Sc use a jp8000 not a sh201. Although the 201 is better imo. Other synths to look at for this type of music is yamaha an1x, ensoniq fizmo, dsi poly evolver.
For soft synths, ANY will do just learn sythesis to create the sounds you want and be creative with fx and send+return settings. Dcam synth squad, rob papan, maudio vintage, this list could go on forever....

You could literally use any software synth and run it through a distortion plug-in (iZotope Trash 2, Audio Damage Kombinat dva, etc.) to get Aggrotech or Industrial sounding stuff.
I would recommend Cakewalk Z3TA+2, or as another member mentioned - Sylenth.
