virus rack xl no sound help needed
im getting no sound out of my access virus xl rack which has been in storage for more than year.
Im just trying to play it midi'd to a controller keyboard. Lcd is fine and I can see its receiving note data from my controller keyboard just no sound. nothing through headphones (just hiss), either connected to my mixer or direct through the virus phones jack, and nothing through the main l/r virus output jacks. is there something turned off somewhere in the submenus I need to look at. happy xmas

Have you increased the master volume on the panel? I cannot remember about a option to mute the phone output.

You could also try a factory reset. I'm not really sure but IMO it was holding the 'parameter left' button while switching the unit on.

Perhaps it's set to receive on a different MIDI channel than your controller is sending on.
