Virus C - no comb filter / formant filter?

Have a Virus C coming tomorrow. I had owned a TI about a year ago. Was happy with it, sold it for other reasons. Now I should have done a little more research I guess, as I had remembered thinking the only difference between the C and the TI was integration and super saw + wavetables. Now looking at the C manual looks like there is no comb filter or formant filter. Aww crap.

1. Was this added in any op sys update?

2. Is there another long way to achieve the comb filter or formant filter sounds thru use of both filters; i.e. notch, res, modulate etc...?

3. Filter vst plugin on Virus audio channel to achieve those results?

I remember Access added some sort of "Moog" filter types in OS 6.5, but no comb filter. From what I recall, the "Moog" fliters are bit more dirty than standard 4 pole. I've hardly ever used them. I've never really attempted myself, but a combination of effects and the two filters, you might be able to come up with something. Virus C is loaded with options. As for patching audio out through a VST, you can always do that, but it is not the same because the filter in a synth is post oscillators and pre amplifier.

TI has alot of more features than what you describe

You can get a comb filter - ish effect with a very short delay time ....
