Oberheim Xpander aftertouch issue

My Xpander is not responding to Pressure ( aftertouch )...
It is very strange.
My "Master multi" has Pressure assigned to Pressure but when making a single patch and routing filter freg to pressure nothing happens. My DAW is sending out channel aftertouch, I have also tried with Polyphonic aftertouch messages just in case...
Nothing happens, what can be wrong ?
All other modulations work just fine but not pressure?
Is it a bug in firmware or something ?

That's wierd. Did the Xpander use to respond to AT and then suddendly stopped, or did it *never* show any response to AT?

If it's the former, I would seek the culprit in the transmitting part... something got blocked or filtered.

If it's the latter... well, it's been long ago, but I remember the Xpander undergoing a major software update a few years after its introduction. It could be that the very first version didn't respond to AT.... I can't be sure though.

Btw, I would make sure to enable CONTROLLERS for the Zone you're using, and for the Zones at the MASTER level. Just in case.

I guess I find it !

My Xpander has the oldest firmware.
"2. Previously, when using a synthesizer with channel pressure, (the new DX7 software for example) ,
the pressure would be ignored if the Zone Input was set to OMNI. To use the pressure with the old
software the Zone Input had to be set to channel 1. This problem has been corrected in version 1.1."

Yes, changing the Zones to MIDI channel 1 solved the issue.
