Looking for sound card to use with Maschine

Hey guys! I've just recently invested in a Native Instruments Maschine, which comes with one midi in and one midi out port. I also have a Korg Kaoss Pad Quad, which needs the regular sort of line-in/line-out connection. Also! Will be getting a Novation SL Mk II very soon.

I'd love to hook all this stuff up and use it together, but my current sound card, a ESI U24XL doesn't have any midi-in ports, and not really any line-ins or outs for the regular thin cable (it has ins and outs for jacks).

So, I basically need to hook up a NI Maschine, Korg Kaoss Pad Quad, Novation SL Mk II and my Genelec monitors (two line ins) to this soundcard.

Does anyone have a soundcard to recommend me that will allow me this? I don't think I need a particularly flashy one, but I'd like one that gives me value for money. Price range around $200.

Any suggestions?

You don't really need the MIDI ports on the Maschine for its regular usage - just the USB connection.

It's a built in MIDI interface.

If you want Maschine to control another piece of MIDI gear or have it be controlled by that gear ... For instance, sending bpm message to your Kaoss Pad so the tempo-synched effects (e.g. delays) correspond with Maschine's bpm and it sounds right ...

But ... for the Kaoss Pad to process a Maschine sound or group of sounds you will need an audio interface that has at least one or two routable outputs ... It's actually VERY easy and convenient in Maschine to do this and can give your Maschine sound some differentiation from all the internal effects ... (I have a Kaoss Pad3 that I like to use with Maschine in this way ... )

Good luck ... Just remember, as long as it sounds good, there's really no "wrong" way of doing things ...

Nice, thanks for the input! I'm not a very experience gearslut, so I'm not quite sure what kind of an audio interface you are referring to. Can you give me an example? A sound card with two special outputs?

Sorry for being a noob, e.
