one of best percu/hihat advices i found on gearslutz and applied

Since some time i tried to achieve nice spacious and cooperating set of hats,hi hats, shakers, tambourines ,open ,closed etc in tracks. I started to toy with reverb, delay ,sometime stried saturation and all the shiet.

I was going after really nice naturally sounding thing as i like it sounding this way in prog house/techno . (guy J,or guy gerber)

And i read somewhere here, cant even remember where, advice about....dropping all those processing effects,as someone was also complicating it as hell. So i stripped it totally, panned,eq'ed a bit to my taste and sent all together to one compressor threating it really mild.

and boom...sometimes less is more ,thx to anyone who wrote it,cant remember who it was,i digged it somewhere here. It is still far from perfect, but sounds like 5 steps ahead of where i was.
