Looking to buy keyboard

Im looking to buy an electric keyboard for $400 or less. I will probably buy used to get the most for my money. I am going to be using it to learn piano and produce beats. Some producers that inspire me are Iman Omari, Low Leaf, I like the beats off of Drakes Take Care album as well as some of the Weeknds and Frank oceans beats...Im not sure who produces all of them but thats just to give you guys an Idea of the sound Im looking for.

I am probably going to want a keyboard with a midi out because I will most likley be using the saffire focusrite for recording. Speaking of, does anyone have anything good to say about this Audio Interface. I am open to reccomendations. I will be using my laptop to record (Stock Toshiba L755).

Regarding the Keyboard, I found a Novation KS4 hypersync on craigslist and it is in my price range but Im not sure It will be available by the time I have the money!

Help is appreciated!

Also, The more keys the better I need ATLEAST 60 somthing

I remember reading on a trade magazine that Drake uses Pro Tools, as is also indicated here in this interview: Drake Take Care 2011 Album | Recording Drake Take Care 2011 Album , so all you might need is any MIDI controller keyboard and a copy of Pro Tools LE... all the synths / drum machine / sampler are already in Pro Tools and they sound great.

Well I have very broad plans and out of the producers I listed I will mostly go for the Iman Omari- Frank ocean sound.

I think it would be nice to have a keyboard that produces its own sounds but if for $400 Im better off getting a nice Midi controller than I am open to that idea...so I am open to Midi reccomendations too...

buy a korg microstation from zzounds.com. you can make monthly payments of $99 bucks. its $399 total. it has 61 keys and you can produce a song from start to completion. it has midi as well as usb and comes with a computer app that opens it up greatly that can also be used as a vsti plugin. it has a 16 step sequencer so you can program drum beats or synth/bass patterns.

thank you for the feedback, I will do some more looking into the microkorg but I was hoping to get something with full-sized keys.

ahh I see.

Well the microSTATION looks awesome but I really want full sized keys...other than that it looks perfect.

Can you reccomend anything LIKE the microStation feature wise but with regular sized keys?

not for your price range unfortunatly. but im tellin you the smaller keys aint bad. i prefer them. why not goto a music shop and check out a microkorg or microkorg xl.. they have the same sized keys as the microstation.

I think these are all bad suggestions.
Something like a Juno/Fantom/Motif/Mox will be better for learning piano. Even an out of date one. Get something you can record with.
