Yup and prior to this week I ignored software and strictly worked on hardware, however seeing what you can do with software I am jumping on.

I never knew any of these programs existed, I do now.

Yep Thesys tried it, NERVE awesome and purchased it what a beast, can make a techno track on this alone.

Just tossting up now between Numerology and Thesys?
What you think

No worries. It looks as though I'm on a much longer journey than I first thought to try and get this set up. Always the way, isn't it

Binman we have all been there, and I am still there after how many years.
It is not easy to get that perfect set up as you imagine it to be.

It takes allot of hard work, trial and error, sleepless nights and many moments of frustration and manual searching.
Then one day it will all come come together as you dreamed it would be
Good luck.

Certainly seems that way at the moment. I think the missus would kill me if I just went out and bought any more gear (i.e. a Waldorf Microwave I and Doepfer MAQ 16/3 which I quite *obviously* need :p), so I've got to put some serious effort into getting this working.

Do you own a Launchpad or want to? If you make your own overlay it's cool for working with Numerolgy. Thesys has some good performance controls too.

For working with a variety of hardware and software the flexibility of Numerology pays off, but it's not as immediate and has a higher learning curve.

No Launchpad here.
They seem to both be very good, neither is better then the other.
I actually to prefer the interface of Thesys a little more though.

Both really good bits of kit, very impressed.
