Syncing your juno 60 arp a DAW without DCB
It is possible to sync the juno 60s arp to a DAW. Today i made a quick beat. While noodling around, I found out that you can sync the Juno 60s arpeggiator to say logic. You must have a sync box for your drum machine. I used the kenton pro solo II. The pro solo was used to sync a linndrum to logic. From the linndrums trigger out, i patched into the junos Arpeggiator clock Input. Once the linndrum is played a beat, triggered off logic. the arpeggiator stayed in time. The drums dont even have to be recorded. The drum machine can be used just as a sync medium.

I've done something similar, except I used a midi sequencer and triggered my Jx-3P's sequencer from a midi-to-cv interface.

you can just send midi clock to the Kenton, then clock out of the Kenton to the Juno 60 Clock In and bypass the drum machine altogether..I do this all the time with my Pro2000.

but can you adjust the quantization? On the linn you can select different pulses for note length.

you set the clock divide on the kenton to adjust to 1/8th's or 1/16th's or whatever, is that what you mean by quantization/note length?

there's a chart in the manual but basically its 24 for 1/4, 12 for 1/8ths, 6 for 1/16ths. you can set the inbetween values for triplets..

Extremely hot Square Wave will do the trick. Works for Polysix too.
