Gotharman DIY Demoon synth

Has anyone tried to make the full kit of this:
Ny side 1

Was it hard to build?

It looks like it is a complete Demoon synth, you just have to build into a box.

I don't have much technical skills, but unfortunately I only recently became aware of this synth, and missed the previous "finished" one.

I bought a Little Deformer from the same company recently, and I am truly amazed that such a small company can make such a machine, so I would like to try this too, I am just not 100% certain...

It looks easy enough.. Like it says, there is no real electronics skills required. You just need to house it in a case, and that doesn't have to be anything fancy. You'd probably find some simple plastic boxes in a hobby/craft store that would do fine.
If you have the basic tools needed to make some holes in the right places of a plastic box, then you should be good to go. It might not look pretty, but then the complete ones they used to sell were not pretty either
You may also need other basic things, like PCB spacers and screws for them. But I can't imagine it would need much else..

Thanks a lot for your advice

You got a good point there. It can't be that hard to make some holes in a plastic box. It must be possible to somehow cut the display hole with a knife.

I'll think about it a little bit more, but I think I'll go for it. I would like to support this company some more.

I like the design of the finished blue demoon's. On the pictures at least...
