Does the axiom g3 come with HT? If so, that one.

If not, axiom pro 61.

for 500 get a novation ultranova, a good synth+ interface+ controller. It0s common to see them at that price on ebay

It is a cool synth, though I can't speak to its quality as an interface, but IMO, I want the knobs on my synth controlling my synth, and a separate controller dedicated to my software. Call me a OCD

Also, OP says he wants 61 keys - to my knowledge, the ultranova only comes in the 37-key flavor.
