Wireless MIDI

I have two Remote MIDI keyboards (Yamaha KX5 and Roland AX1) that would be nice to add wireless MIDI to. I looking for some opinions, experience and recommendations for Wireless MIDI.

To me Kenton's Wireless MIDI looks good but too pricy to the purpose. CME WIDI-X8 has a much lower price tag, but my experience with CME (VX5 - the software was buggy and any support existed not) is not only good. Anyhow, it looks interesting.

I've got a couple of the CME WIDI things. They have always worked well for me when I use them simply to bridge the 5-pin DIN plug to the wireless connection. In other words, as a kind of extended wireless MIDI cable. When using them as a USB interface -- plugging them into the computer -- I have had trouble with them -- flakiness. This is on a Mac, and I keep my OS pretty much up to date, so I speculate that their firmware is somehow either out of date or had a bug all along, not sure.
