Vermona Cross Filter - should I?

Usually, I don't have many doubts buying stuff, but this one is hurting my head. There is Vermona Cross Filter for sale, good price, nice condition.

Since I sold Virus Classic I don't have proper stereo filter unit. I remember what a fun used to be to filter pads and strings thru Virus. Resaults were much easier to acchieve than EQing ITB, and there's always that little colorisation by certain filters. Cross filter is analog and has recognisable character, as far as I can hear from demos. It's fun too, and nice layout.

But the sound is not quite there where I'd like it to be (I'm thinking Moog pedal, Mutator), still it's a great value and variable filters...yummy

Someone has expirience running synths through Vermona filter to share?
