Arp Odyssey issue

Hi all,

I was hoping there was somebody with an Arp Odyssey who could either let me know this is normal, or possibly an arp expert who can point me in a direction.

soo, on my arp, when all the levels are down in the mixer except for the VCA, I still hear some bleed through. it sounds like the ring mod, because it definitely changes to a white noise sound when i switch to noise. I've cleaned the pots several times, but still the issue persists.

questions - do they all do this? if not, anyone know where to start looking? the pot seems to be functional.

thanks!

How did you clean the pot?

If, at the bottom of it's throw, the fader still has some resistance, then the ringmod/noise will bleed through.

From memory, it's a simple mixer, so I'd blame the pot.

How bad is the bleed?

Its not normal I just checked. Sounds to me like one of the sliders isn't returning to zero properly.

well, it's a little more mysterious than that now. When I hear bleedthrough, it's pre-filter. I'm pretty sure the faders in the mixer are post, or am I wrong on that?
