I saw a Korg M1R for about $100 on my local CL a while ago. Might as well get the real deal for that price.

But it's not an M1, and for twice that you have the TR Rack. It's impossible to edit without a computer, but great as a preset machine and it makes the XP30/JV1080 sound positively muffled; in my opinion the JD800 could go head to head in terms of clarity.

Best part? The TR rack has a perfect M1 piano preset on it .

Nobody seems to write tunes that envelope you like that nowadays. Beautiful soft texture, and I agree the piano is amazing. I wonder how much is the preset and how much is the processing. Delicate filtering and reverb to get the airy sound?
