Urghhh

Anyways, great news!

Any tips on the style? Subtle like the first, or pumped like the second? Or something entirely different? Dubby? Or Brostep?

Late 90ies, 5 in the morning overlooking the sea, sun coming up over the pastel water and pale dew, a mild summer breeze, skin still tingling, head dizzy, legs way tired, time for some Leftfield and lean back. Ahh, the memories..

I might actually cry if it's Brostep - but given Leftfield for me has always = Progression - I severely doubt it. But if wrong will def cry

Nope, not sure if he has any social media pages i did look a while back but dont think i found anything, he has some cool stuff up on his soundcloud page though:

PAUL DALEY (LEFTFIELD)'s sounds on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

Paul isnt involved with Leftfield as it is now, as i understand it.

Perhaps ambient brostep.

Seriously though, very much looking forward to this new effort.
Been listening to Leftism and Rhythm and Stealth all summer.

Release the Pressure was a GREAT track to drive to work after getting dumped by some chick via text message.

Good music tends to pull you out of the crapper.

Lets hope its more beer, less cocaine (or whatever the kids are doing these days).

Unfortunately the ridiculously fast tempos that were fashionable in the early 90's show the album's age. Try pitching tracks such as Space Shanty down 2 semitones in Traktor or whatever. Sounds much less frantic... and far better for it imho.

Saw Leftfield a couple of years ago and i've no idea how they got away with the bass levels that night, Seen some bass heavy acts over the years but that was something else

Yes. Where's the damn rage in today's music? I wasn't quite old enough to have kids in the 80's but I feel a little like an ex-punk looking at his stock-aitken-waterman-loving offspring....

I loved 180bpm drum and bass, lived the raves and the squats, chilled to the Future Sound Of London and even if you didn't like my tunes they were always atmospheric.. nowadays it's Simon Cowell and manufactured marketing gone mad. I like a lot of modern music, but it's gotta have attitude.

Hip hop used to be street gospel, pure poetry and social allegory, a message and a medium. Nowadays it's about how much money ya got. Capitalism reaches into the strangest places.....

Lol... I went through the whole acid house/warehouse rave scene 22 years ago. Now I'm in my 40's and tend to consider anything over 120bpm too fast!
