Bass falls apart in lower octaves

Hey guys. my name is Amado and I am a producer looking to fine tune my skills in making electronic dance music.

Recently I made a track that features a wobble bass in the chorus -

The issue is that as the bassline progresses, I have it playing lower notes and it sounds like it rattles more and lacks bass the lower it goes. I tried moving the notes an octave higher but it doesnt sound right either

any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thank you guys for the suggestions! Very much appreciated!

Simply turning up the bass was causing distortion, so I ended up layering it with a sine wave sub and automating the volumes. Seemed to work fairly well. I wish I had even more time to completely round the sound the way I wanted it, but I had to submit it yesterday since it was for Beatport Remix Contest.

You can listen to the song here :

again, It was the wobble bass in the drops I was trying to fix

If you like the song and you would like to vote - please vote >.< The voting phase has begun and I need all the help I can get. Thank you very much again!

Have you tried running it (not the sub layer) through a guitar amp vst? It's the lower harmonics of the womb womb layer getting more 'square' as pitch it down.
