Oberheim DX question

No one can confirm this? I'm just looking to see if anyone else with a DX can confirm the step seq begins at "0".

If it's any help, my DMX starts on "00" and goes through to "16" for bar one. Bar two starts "01" through to "16". If I continue to advance through the steps, past the end of bar 2/step "16", it cycles to bar 1 "01" (not "00")
Its like bar one of the first pass has 17 steps.
Confuses me.

That's relieving thanks! With no MIDI I'm here sequencing this thing and I keep getting an extra beat on play back :what: It was driving me crazy.
