Best 21st Century Analog Synth

With the Oberheim TVP scheduled for re-release this month, and with the current profusion of new analog synths, I'm curious how everyone here would rate the recent crop of 21st century analog machines on a conventional 1-10 scale, with a 9-10 rating putting the synth on or very near the level of its vintage brethren. Having purchased two myself (Moog Voyager and Oberheim SEM) and extensively demo-ed several others (Mode SL-1, Moog Phatty), I'd have to rate the new SEM (patch panel version) as the best of the bunch, both for its ergonomically-pleasing interface and its overall sound, which, at least to my ears, is for all practical purposes identicle to the original SEM. Hence, I'd rate the new SEM at 9.5 and, by comparison, the Voyager at 6.5.

Are you including price as one of the factors in relation to the rating you're giving? ie if the voyager was $800 cheaper, would you still rate it at a 6.5? I've owned a voyager (had to sell for $, but I shall get it back!), and I would definitely rate it higher than a 6.5, but then again I haven't used an SEM.

First of all - isn't it a bit early in this century to determine which one is the best for the 21th century...?
However, confining myself to 2000 - 2012 than two brands come to mind as top of the list:
GRP and Macbeth.

I'm thinking more along the lines of pure sound reproduction rather than prices. The Voyager, for instance, costs more than four times what you'll pay for the SEM, but I'd have to say the sound of the SEM is closer to vintage analog than the V. On the other hand, the V is far more versatile than the SEM, so you may be right that I'm underrating it a bit.

My Recordings/Credits

Without assigning any numbers, these three will have to fill the Top-3 positions (a tie between the three):

Alesis Andromeda A6
Cwejman S1 MK2
MacBeth M5

For sheer sound quality, I'd choose the recent Macbeth stuff (the modules and the Micromac), or the GRP A4.

For overall joy of playing (mix of features, sound, ergonomics, sex appeal) - MEK and PEK.

- For completeness of features in an integrated synth - Andromeda.

- The Cwejman sounds tight and compct, but it doesn't appeal to my ears.

I Agree.

There isn't really a "best" synth. It depends on what you enjoy hearing. Music is too abstract and diverse to simply say oh this instrument, synth, person, etc has the "BEST" sound coming out of them.

The title should be "What is your favorite 21st century analog synth?" To which I would respond the Poly Evolver especially the Potentiometer Edition, or The Nord Wave.
