I was a teenager in the mid 70s.

Without Donna Summer's music I would probably still be a virgin. It was the music of my fun and friendship.

So, I wish her an eternity of love wherever she went now.

This woman just did her thing so effortlessly, watch her sing, she made it look so easy, incredible poise...great talent..so ****ing sad.

I like this clip..is this her daughter that starts it off?

I read something on the web about Moroder making I Feel Love. Most of the comments were from Pete Bellotte his production partner. They were a great team. The genius for the Moog programming was a German guy named Robbie Wedel.

Anyway, Pete said Donna was a dream to work with. He said she would warm up her voice signing in the ladies room. He said everyone in the building would stop to listen to her because they were in awe. I forgot exactly what he said but she was pitch perfect and her voice was powerful.

I don't think she smoked and she said she thought 9/11 killed her. She said after 9/11 she was depressed from it and stayed in her apt in NYC.

From what everyone said - she was also a truly nice lady. Very sad.

Awww. That sucks, I did not know she was sick. One of the first popular music that turned me on was Night Life.
