Eventide Blackhole native plugin

Blackhole

Anyone tried this yet?
$99 special offer.
Initially I thought it was a native 'Space' stompbox but looks like its not.
There is a demo, which I will try soon.

Any thoughts post them here

well that's a public beta thread with a dead link at the top, so whatever.

now anyone that's got anything useful to add can do it in this thread, if that's ok with you?

I think it's time I take a break from GS for a few months. Is that useful and/or OK with you?

check out this video from eventide's email comparing hardware and software, very bad for promotion because the software sounds bad compared to the hardware imo

valhalla shimmer may not be better than the hardware eventide but definitely better than the software

Will test this out on headphones in a bit on the youtube demo's...I had an H8000FW hardware for a while, now have the Space pedal.

I wonder if using the plugin at 96k will make a difference, it did with the H8000FW.

Sorry to butt in, but you are saying one thing is definitely not as good as another because you heard one person (who most likely set out to prove his hardware was better) make a youtube demo, ok, nice.

Yeah, I'm so angry, I posted a video and pretended it was from Eventide.

People on forums usually accuse people of getting worked up when they are worked up themselves, then they post videos and say it was made by Eventide.

in the other post which compares the Valhalla plug to the Space pedal i prefer the sound of the Valhalla.

in the above video the Space sounds better, but maybe because it's not as loud?
