New purity ring song... For those who care.

This isnt an ad, I just love this band. Everything about them is great as far as I am concerned.

If you haven't heard their other three songs then I suggest that you check them out.

Purityringsongs.com

Great blend of sweet, scary, sexy, cute and glitchy digital music.

I think they have some of my favorite vocals of any electronic act.

Hell yeah! You are welcome. I'm going to see them this summer. They have a free show in Brooklyn I think.

Boo...

I got so excited when you mentioned two artists that you thought purity ring resembled, and I don't see the similarity aside from a hint of dub step to the drum beats.

Man purity ring gets me so amped up. Their songs are so well produced and her voice and the lyrics are like a sexy, female NIN.

So damaged and innocent at the same time but without that sort of obvious look at me I'm damaged and creepy but still sexy and still feminine vibe of cocorosie or something.

To each their own.

Lofticries

I guess i expected just too much.I do like the songs but...not deep enough for me.And the autotune kills me even if as efx use.But...its a matter of taste and i heard way way worse"underground" upcommers this year.
Will get the album tho.

My Recordings/Credits

I love this record. They have really great synth tones..damn. It sounds like a lot of FM8/FM7, but I am probably off..never was great at picking out synth sounds.

New album is great. If you have heard and liked one of their songs you will like the album. All same style, but the album is strong.

I concur, everything on there is good (except one track where there is a white guy hip hop style vocal ). It's worth buying.

and shall we open a thread now for any release we like or do each of us bundles them in one thread per week? or one thread per month? how many new releases do we have each week ? and how many are relevant for the history of electronic music?

Isnt this a gear and production related forum? how about the exchange of some nice cooking advice hear? producers have to eat... or lets discuss about relaxing stimulants.. ok..thats against the forum rules..
