There there. That doesn't sound very good considering this is a German company.

tripbeat, you have my vote for 6 voices on the Dominion poly - allows more complex chords for jazzoids like many of us!

Just listened to the soundcloud preview. Sounds very good, I've got a couple dsi synths and this will be a nice change as well as a new vibe. I've just got out the box a year ago and it feels nice to have one box with one aim to get and nice sound. I still like to tweak till the near end so one more poly with a different tone than dsi is something.

I'd like a six voice, so that I can eventually run a midi guitar through it.

As it seems - dsi is also planning on a new poly, likely to have a multimode filter. So we'll wait and see what pops out in winter namm 2013.

Can't see anyone going for that...

I hope its a module ... Anybody looking at one of these is going to be already equipped or savvy enough to understand it absolutely doesn't need one ...

To save cost, this is the first thing I'd ditch ...

Does MFB even make a synth with a keyboard?

BTW ... This is an amazing time for analog ... Can you imagine what the market would be like if these were boomtimes? (Well, they are if you're jonseing for a Boomstar lol ... )

Imagine the EPIC possiblities of WNAMM 2013; Arturia will most likely reveal either a Minibrute module or (gasp) a Polybrute....DSI will reveal their next big poly with new voice architecture as well as showing the Mopho X4, and MFB should have their Dominion poly there as well. O man, I never thought I'd dream of a day like that.

Btw, i don't mind the 5 voice polyphony that much. I'm more bothered by the fact it's not a 5-octave keyboard.

That's exactly why I'm okay with 4 octaves. Big keyboards make very little sense with low polyphony.

Patch memory

Looking forward to buy the Dominion 5. I hope MFB will implement lots of memory space to save patches. The 128 programmable patches on the Dominion X aren't much if you like tweaking.

Or perhaps two LFOs per voice and a third global LFO for vibrato, total of eleven? Bah! We need more accurate info.
most analog polys have monophon lfo´s.. and 5 voices of the pro 5 hasnt stopped anybody from using it and spending >3K for it..

So, here we are. It's NAMM 2013.
Any news regarding the Dominion 5?

I would think a small company from Germany like MFB would not go to NAMM, rather save money and wait till Musikmesse. From the updates, I would expect the 523 and Dominion 5 to be ready for demo by April.

Yeah let's hope we'll see something in Musikmesse. Too pitty that Dave Smith probably won't be there (last year he wasn't)...

Or, in reality ar WNAMM 2013, DSI reveals their new Prophet 12 digital synth (gag), Arturia will have no new analog product, MFB will be MIA on the Dominion poly. But the Korg MS-20 was a nice reveal, as well as the Sub Phatty.

Digital/analog hybrid, just in case anyone actually takes your post literally.

just dipped into sequencer.de with google translate and it appears its possible MFB might make a 6 voice Dominion expander - which could be the small format poly analogue I yearn for...

However its 523 drum machine first, then Dominion 5...so Im not holding my breath...curious to see if others like me would prefer a desktop poly analogue over a keyboard...

Desktop/rack would be great. I'd prefer that to a 4 octave keyboard.

Same over here, no more space for keys.
