Production on Katy Perry's Teenage dream

I really like the production on Katy Perry's Teenage dream and I was quite impressed by Dr Luke on how he manages to keep a consistent level on the guitars and Katy's vocals throughout the song, even when the song gets louder for the choruses that same guitar can still be heard.

I was quite interested to know how Dr Luke uses compression to get these effects

I seem to always end up commenting on dr luke related things here lol... anyway, remember all of Dr Luke's work (I think his entire discography if I'm not mistaken) is mixed by Serban Ghenea - so I would hunt for interviews with Serban to figure out what he's doing in the mix
