Afrojack Drums

Hey so I have been trying to get this style kick drum forever!!! Afrojack - Replica (Original Mix) - YouTube . (It's afrojack "replica" if you don't feel like clicking the link or your just on your phone.) I have tried deadmau5 drums, goldbaby drums, vengeance drums, and seemingly everything else in the world besides a real analog drum machine. I have tried parallel compression, regular compression, and eqing everyway I can think of. Do any of you know how he gets this punchy kick sound? Its literally killing me!!!

If anyone could upload the kick (from metrum) that you speak of, that would be incredible.

We are talking about 1 kick drum sample here, which I would like to have in my library. It's not a bullshit excuse, you yourself would probably not want to pay $100+ for one ****ing kick drum sample that you are looking for. I create a lot of my own kicks which sound really good and I always layer kicks to get the sound I want. Don't say I don't have pride.

The key to the holy realm of EDM success lies in this kick sample. Those who obtain it will reign over the top 100 DJ charts!!!!

Please explain us why you urgently need the original kick (which is maybe not identically in Metrum, maybe not at all)?

What's so special about this kick?

It just sounds like a 909 kick (or emulator) that's been eq'd and compressed - or am I missing something?

i laughed so hard i think my appendix just exploded.
and as for this guy trying to have the same kick as everyone else.
thats totally cool but remember how much fun it is to make your very own kick? i jump up and down in circles when i layer like 3 different kicks with a little bit of hi hat then bounce that mofo, and then i hear that punch that i made with my own eq'ing.

self satisfaction.
