Recording Fender Rhodes, Vox Organs

I'd love to discuss various recording techniques used as well as amplification, mics etc.
I have heard the Rhodes through a fender twin and it's cool. Ive also heard a vox continental through a vox ac which is amazing. Would live some thoughts and input.
Thx

cant help with the vox, but rhodes DIed through a nice preamp, either through the jack input or directly plugged into the harp is how i record mine.
havent had access to a fender twin, so i dont mic mine up.
i have one of these: Rhodes
and it makes a pretty significant difference in recording a rhodes.

Rhodes -> (broken) Fender Twin -> Rode NT1-A -> Digi 002
No EQ, compression or FX.

This was recorded live with drums, sax and double bass at a music academy.
There is a bit of bleed from double bass.

The Rhodes sounded much better when i put the mic 30cm further away, but then i had too much bleed from the other instruments.
The presence from the Fender was around 10 o'clock. If i turned it further it sounded much more open, but the Fender started crackling when he played higher notes.
Sometimes a big bang of noise came from the Fender.
People should check their gear before starting a recording session.

Quality isn't that great, but i did my best in these circumstances.

Why did i use this gear? They had nothing else.

Hi
Thanks both for the input and sample. It's really cool. Seems you definitely worked the sound. I'd love to hear more thoughts and input as well on this topic. Would a direct DI into a pre such as Neve just do the trick as well?
